Field by Helen Kontouris
Made By Pen is exhibiting at Sydney Indesign from the shared space, Pioneer. Located at B2 Studio and reserved only for authentic Australian design brands, it is part of Sydney’s Alexandria district. Made By Pen will be launching four new designs to the local market.
Helen Kontouris is the newest member of the Made By Pen collaborative team. With her version of the trusty lazy Susan, Field is her ticket in, joining: Nick Rennie, Jim Hannon-Tan, Michael Ong and Stefan Bagnoli.
What should you expect to see? The design industry’s favourite piece of desktop architecture, Linea has now moved into wall-mount functionality. See the original range and the newest additions.
Oii will be wowing the Sydney Indesign attendees with its cleverly encased fire blanket. Trumping points for safety in workspace, hospitality and residential markets, this piece is becoming a fitout necessity. See more here.
If you need any more reasons to visit the stand, Made By Pen will be having a preview of Nick Rennie’s newest light design, Sway. Officially launching at the Parisian exhibition Maison et Objet in September – they couldn’t wait and offering an opportunity for a look-but-don’t-touch.
And to house it all, Meanwhile in Melbourne has collaborated with Made By Pen to design a response to The Project theme, CLICK. Finding a common ground of connectivity, they have designed an interactive installation at the stand. Powered by the attendees, they will show how each product, designer, manufacturer and end user are all webbed together.
